The All Star Sports Resort – Sports Done Disney Style!
Are you devoted to football? Crazy about basketball? Baseball crazy? Tennis, anyone? Or would you rather hang ten on a board? Welcome to the All Star Sports Resort at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida!
Fight it out: the All Star Sports Resort!
Disney’s All Star Sports Complex is dedicated to the wide world of sports and themes include surfing, baseball, basketball, tennis and soccer. These sports themes are transmitted not only in the rooms, but also in entire buildings!
The resort is one of four Disney Value Resorts, the lowest priced hotels on Disney property. Although the hotel has 1,920 rooms, it fills up quickly, so early booking is recommended. “Preferred” rooms are available for around $12 more per night, allowing you to purchase a room closer to the pool, guest facilities, or food court.
Rooms are approximately 260 square feet and can accommodate up to 4 people. All Star Sports does not contain any family suites – check All Star Music instead. Also note that rooms with king beds cannot be reserved. They are first come first served.
All resorts also charge an extra bed tax with the stay – about 1.5% more than the Pop Century resort. Keep this in mind when budgeting as it can add up if you are staying multiple days.

The resort has two pools, Surfboard Bay and the Grand Slam, as well as a small children’s pool. There is no pool strictly for adults. But hey, the themed pools are big enough for everyone!
There’s also an arcade, near the food court, and a playground located between the surf and soccer-themed buildings. A laundromat and gift shop are also on-site, if you’re staying more than a few days.
Dinner is served
There is a food court in the station called “End Zone”, in the Stadium Hall. The fare includes burgers, fries, pizza, deli-style entrees, and vegetarian options. There is no restaurant with table service in the hotel, but pizza delivery is available to your room.
Other info
The Disney All Star Sports Resort is located near Animal Kingdom Park and includes complimentary bus transportation to all Disney theme parks, as well as Downtown Disney. Buses can get crowded when stations are busy, so keep that in mind when planning your day, as you may have to wait for the next bus. Fear not, however, as they arrive approximately every 10-15 minutes.
